INTRODUCTION: Renault’s effort to make a mark in the growing Indian car market is aggressively visible now.It had products like Impulse,Fluence and Koleos in its category which did not bring significant sales to Renault.Last year it sold 1500 cars.With the aim to capture the mass market Renault has launched a unique product in its line called the Renault Duster which is the same European variant with subtle changes to meet the Indian requirements.Duster is Compact 5 seater SUV with loads of boot space and Renault has done its home work spot on by pricing it in the sweet spot of a premium hatch back and the sedan.We definitely believe Duster would change fortunes of Renault in India and also will re write the SUV story in India since the SUV segment has become a very hot competitive segment now.We look into the Renault Duster.
