How to disable Windows Update installation during Shut Down

Do you feel trouble when you want to shut down your computer and it asks you to install update while shutting down which will even continue after the restart of PC also thus increasing the time of boot. Also you will be troubled by the windows update installer reminder which will keep popping up to remind you about installing the update. The solution to this problem is to install all the update

only during windows startup and this will even not remind you o install windows update by popup messages every time. Follow the steps below to to disable these troubling reminder on your PC. This trick is supported on all Windows OS.

Steps to disable update installation during Shut Down

On the Run Menu type gpedit.msc to run Local Group Policy Editor
Navigate to the location specified in the image below and open “Do not display ‘Install updates and Shut Down’ Windows dialog box”

Click on the enabled button on the Window appeared now system will not be prompted to Install Updates and Shut Down while you are working.

To remove the same option even from the start Menu
click and open “Do not adjust default option to ‘Install Update and shut Down’ in Shut Down Windows dialog box”
  Click on Enabled button and its all done.
