Disable Error Reporting service in Windows

Whenever a error occurs either due to the program or Windows system, you will see a pop-up windows asking you to send error report to Microsoft. It’s no way useful as you can’t find any solution to the problem occurred by reporting the error. neither you will be able to find what is the actual problem whether its from your program or from Microsoft OS. Such errors will also log the

error details in your system which is no way useful to you. You can disable all the reporting and system logging. The steps below holds good in all windows system to disable the error reporting service and system logging of the error.

 

Explorer stopped working

Steps to disable the error reporting service:-

In the run window (Press Win+R) write gpedit.msc then press return Key
You will see the group policy editor window as shown below.

Navigate to the following location navigate to Error reporting service

 To turn off error reporting Double click on “Turn off Windows Error Reporting” and Click Enable.

Click OK   and its Done you will not be notified for any further error.
